   Copper engraver. Trained under N. Delaunay and A. Duclos. Best known as a reproduction printmaker who engraved numerous galante works by such renowned painters as Fragonard, Poussin, and Moreau, as well as an illustrator who worked on novels by the likes of La Fontaine.
